What this policy covers
This policy explains the cookies and other storage and access technologies used on the Eich Dyn website (eichdyn.co.uk), which is operated by Eich Dyn Career Services Ltd. As well as cookies, these technologies can include local storage and session storage in your browser, scripts and tags loaded from third parties, and tracking or measurement code embedded in a page. We refer to all of them together as “storage and access technologies”.
Some of these technologies are strictly necessary to deliver a page or a feature you have asked for and do not require your consent. Other technologies are non-essential and normally require consent, unless a specific exception under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) applies. For example, analytics may fall within the narrow “statistical purposes” exception if it is used only to produce aggregate statistical information about use of the service with a view to improving it, and does not involve profiling or tracking individuals for other purposes. Where such an exception is relied on, the operator must still give clear and comprehensive information and provide a simple, free means to object. This page describes what the site actually uses. Durations are shown where we set and publish them ourselves. Where a third party sets the cookie or storage, the retention period is determined by that provider and may change; we have indicated the provider so you can check their own documentation.

Strictly necessary technologies
Where you sign in to a secure area of the site, our platform stores authentication information in your browser so that your session persists between pages. This is necessary to provide the service you have requested and cannot be switched off without preventing those features from working. We do not use this information for analytics or advertising.
Analytics and performance technologies
The site loads Google Analytics 4 to understand how pages perform — for example which articles are read, which pages visitors arrive on, and where traffic comes from. This is not strictly necessary. Whether analytics can operate without consent depends on whether the statutory “statistical purposes” exception is met; if it is not met, consent is required. On this site the Google Analytics script is not downloaded at all unless you accept non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit.
Forms, booking and third-party services
HubSpot is our customer relationship management platform. Its site-wide tracking code can set cookies to recognise returning visitors and to associate an enquiry with the page it came from. It is loaded only if you accept non-essential cookies. Our own enquiry, download and booking functionality does not depend on it.
Enquiry, download and booking forms on this site are our own forms. When you submit one, the details you provide — and the consent options you selected — are sent to our own systems and to HubSpot so that we can respond to you and keep a record of your consent.
Booking a Career Diagnosis takes you to a HubSpot scheduling page on a HubSpot domain. Once you leave our site, HubSpot's own cookie and privacy practices apply to that page.
Comments on articles and blog posts are provided by Disqus and are loaded inside an embedded frame. If that frame loads, Disqus may set cookies or use storage on your device under its own policies. Links to LinkedIn and YouTube on this site are ordinary links: no social or video content is embedded in our pages, so those platforms are only involved once you choose to follow a link.
Several Career OS™ tools save your work in your own browser so that you can return to it. That autosaved content stays on your device unless you choose to send it to us.
Advertising and marketing technologies
We do not currently deploy advertising or retargeting pixels on this site. There is no Meta pixel, LinkedIn insight tag or similar advertising tag in our pages. HubSpot and Google Analytics are used for enquiry handling and measurement rather than for serving advertising to you on other websites.
Managing your choices
On your first visit a banner asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Until you accept, neither Google Analytics nor the HubSpot tracking code is downloaded. You can change your choice at any time using the controls below.
Your cookie choice
Rejecting leaves Google Analytics and the HubSpot tracking code unloaded. If you had accepted earlier, rejecting stops both immediately — analytics consent is withdrawn, HubSpot tracking is switched off and the analytics cookies we can reach are deleted — and neither script loads again on later visits unless you accept once more.
You can also manage these technologies directly in your browser. All major browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, clear local and session storage for a site, and block third-party content. Clearing your browser storage for this site will also remove saved tool data and site preferences described above. You can additionally opt out of Google Analytics measurement across websites using Google's browser add-on; browser controls do not, by themselves, satisfy any objection mechanism that must be offered under the statistical-purposes exception.
Blocking strictly necessary technologies may stop parts of the site, such as signed-in areas, from working correctly.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the technologies used on the site change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last reviewed.
